A week after suicide bombers attacked a motor park in Kano, killing over 20 people, luxury bus operators have demanded N495m from the Federal Government as compensation for the loss of nine buses during the attack.
The operators, under the aegis of the Association of Luxury Bus Owners of Nigeria, in a petition to President Goodluck Jonathan, also requested for 24-hour police protection at the Kano motor park and other parts of the country where they were operating
